Danser

Presentation
Dancing whatever the cost, this is the credo of Astrid Eliard’s characters. Without this common passion, Chine, Delphine and Stéphane have never met each other: social middles, origins, motivations, family stories – everything opposed them. At The Ballet School of the Opéra, they will live together, hate, gauge and help each other... But dancing is not over yet! Do the three teenagers make their dreams true?
With lot of humour and tenderness, Astrid Eliard bring us into the Opera « little rats’ » world. A world not only full of tutus, pink tights and ballet slippers... The three dancer candidates are also three teenagers, who are concerned by questions of their age and time. Their bodies are becoming objects of desire. They must have to experience this change, to accept the infatuation of first love emotions and to reconcile their ideal of perfection and the triviality of real life...
Astrid Eliard was born in 1981. She is a journalist. She already wrote a collection of short stories, Nuits de noces (Société des Gens de Lettres’ Prize for short stories), and two novels, Déjà l’automne and Sacrée Marie !
