Presentation
From one day to the next, twenty-five-year-old Mathilde breaks up with her lover Vincent. She leaves Paris and decides to go and stay with her father - whom she has not seen for several years - in the Cotentin region, near Cherbourg. When she arrives, he's not there: the neighbors tell her that he is on a humanitarian mission in Burkina Faso and won't be back soon. But she can move into the workshop next door - it's open...
At first disconcerted, she soon realizes that this situation offers her the perfect occasion to take a break : there, by the sea, forgetting her cell phone in a drawer, she can reconnect with nature and herself.
In the days that follow, Mathilde gets to know her neighbors better - Hans, his wife Lucie, and their eighteen-year-old son Kassel - and discover their secrets and dramas...
Bernard Allays lives and works in Flers, Orne.
