Presentation
Mrs. Morin leads a peaceful life between her husband Guy and her three children she raises with pride. She is a loving mother. But could it be that she is leading other lives? Suffering from a dissociative disorder since she was 15, she is prey to several distinct personalities that take control of her life. In a few seconds, she metamorphoses into Betty, Alice and others, of whom she retains no memory. Repetitive stays in a psychiatric clinic allow her to take shelter. Will the fascination of her therapist be enough to protect her from herself?
In a mirror game about the double, Vinciane Moeschler takes us into the depths of human madness. If Norman Bates, the mythical figure of Psycho, is not far away, it is also an amazing love story that is told here.
Vinciane Moeschler is a journalist, novelist, playwright and filmmaker. She is the author of numerous novels, including Schéhérazade, ma folie and Trois incendies, which won the Prix Victor-Rossel in 2019.
